As an official City of Austin neighborhood association we have an opportunity to add to the ongoing conversations in our city as it impacts our neighborhood. If you’d like to join the HNA you can become a voting member and attend our quarterly meetings. You can also join a sub committee.

Sustainability Committee

The Highland neighborhood Sustainability committee was established with the goal of supporting neighborhood initiatives around urban sustainability. Our goal is to foster community engagement, as essential to creating environmental resiliency, by bringing educational/community events and urban design interventions to our neighborhood. We strive to help make our neighborhood an example of sustainability as an established neighborhood in Austin.

Goals: Identify opportunities in our neighborhood for projects and events that will raise awareness of sustainability in our neighborhood and as it relates to our city.
